Massage Therapy

Full Body Massage

Massage therapy has evolved greatly over the last 10 years. We find that massage is a great adjunct treatment with chiropractic care or physical therapy. Massage depth will vary based on the patient’s needs

  • Increases blood circulation thereby increasing oxygen
  • Releases endorphins, the body’s “natural painkillers”
  • Contributes to shorter labor and less pain with childbirth
  • Reduces stress and overall tension
  • Helps recovery time post surgery and proper scar tissue formation
  • Shown to stimulate the lymph system thereby boosting the body’s natural defense
  • Provides greater joint flexibility and range of motion

Reflexology

Reflexology is a science based on the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands which correspond to all the glands, organs and parts of the body. By stimulating these reflex points many health problems respond naturally. This technique is very non-evasive and relaxing. Patient comfort is maintained with the patient only having to remove their socks and shoes.
